The quality education that the district provides is reflected in student performance. Wake County has a 91% high school graduation rate, compared to the United States’ 85% rate. Additionally, 61.2% of Wake County students achieve a score of three or higher on Advanced Placement Exams, compared to the national average of 57.9%.
